Master's programme (MA)
The MA curriculum
The master's in American Studies runs over two years — four semesters — and lets you go deep across three connected tracks, taught in English by the program's faculty and by visiting Fulbright scholars.
The shape of the degree
The MA builds on the interdisciplinary foundation of the undergraduate program and pushes further: seminar-sized courses, close reading and research, and sustained work toward a master's thesis.
Coursework is organized around three tracks — Culture & Values, History & Politics, and Society & Communication. Most run as paired I–II sequences across consecutive semesters, alongside a Fulbright Seminar, research toward the thesis, and a professional practice placement.
Courses by track
Three connected tracks make up the taught core. Course titles below are taught in English; the instructor for each is named where it could be confirmed.
