Complementary language
Alongside the American Studies courses, every student follows a second modern language for all six semesters — one of the following:
- French
- German
- Italian
- Swedish
- Portuguese
- Spanish
- Korean
- Russian
- Latin
- Romanian
English Language Practice runs four hours a week in the first two years and two hours a week in the third — the same practical training as the other English-major students.
